With Cool Green, we are greening facades together with young recognized newcomers. We design and realize green facades that cool the city, increase livability and create a visually attractive streetscape. Plants and cuttings are essential in this: they bring life, provide shade and make the street more pleasant to live in.
Do you have plants or cuttings that deserve a new place?
For Koel Groen we are looking for plants and cuttings that are suitable for facade greening: climbing plants, facade-appropriate plants, cuttings or young plants, and strong shoots.
Unsure if your plant is suitable? No problem, we are happy to look into it together.
What happens to the plants?
They become part of the Cool Green projects, along with young newcomers and local residents. The plants are part of façade greening projects that contribute both practically and visually to the city.
Donate plants or cuttings?
On Tuesdays between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., das Kunst will be present at Trix (Noordersingel 28/30, Antwerp). There you can bring in your plants or cuttings to Het Venster.
In Ghent you can do so on Fridays at De Punt, shed 11 (Gentbrugge) between 9:30 and 16:00.
Is dropping by difficult? Then we can pick up the plants at your place.
